ACSESS programs
The ACSESS (Adventure Counseling & Survival Experiences for School Students) Breakaway and Limited programs are experiential-based programs utilizing a variety of interactive and adventure activities designed to assist young people in building confidence and developing healthy life skills for dealing with stresses and conflicts they face each day.
The specific program philosophy focuses on inciting a desire in young people to learn, grow, and recognize their individual potential through challenging and successful experiences. The ACSESS Breakaway and Limited programs assist students in making positive life choices and direct them toward a healthy, productive and successful future. The ACSESS Breakaway and Limited programs are experiential-based programs utilizing a variety of interactive and adventure activities designed to assist young people in building confidence and developing healthy life skills for dealing with stresses and conflicts they face each day.
Parents, school personnel, counselor or other relevant adults can refer students. Upon referral, program staff will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine how the Students’ needs are best met.
Both ACSESS Breakaway and ACSESS Limited focus on three main components: parent involvement, goals and a wilderness/adventure experience.

“The Breakaway program saved my life. I know I would not be here had I not learned the lessons shared with me through this unique program. I would have taken my own life or lost it to the poor choices I was making. This experience changed my life and shaped my future.”
